"I never realized I had any special ability, but I knew I loved the act of trying to make the sounds. I think I had drums first, but my parents sent me to a piano lesson once, which I hated. That was purely and simply because of the teacher's personality. Just like any other subject you're taught, the teacher's attitude can really get you interested in something, or make you wanna bail out altogether!"....Will Lee

"I went to seven schools - I was at Elsmere Grammar for a year when my Dad moved us to Shrewsbury. That was where I lost it. The Shrewsbury school was a bad as the Ellesmere School had been good. Shrewsbury just about killed me education wise. They did have few good teachers (Scott comes to mind) but I was never fortunate enough to be taught by the good ones. We had all the nut cases. "..........................Ian Hunter.

Coming soon an exclusive interview with Danny Bowes the lead singer of International rock band, 90's legends, -the mighty THUNDER.
"I never got into music until I was 13, so I was a bit of a late starter. David Bowie was my first idol, followed by Paul Rodgers, then The Beatles and finally Stevie Wonder. Once I heard Songs In The Key Of Life everything else went out the window, and it's been the same ever since."..................................Danny Bowes.

"Our album 'Black and White' was recorded in Ranscombe Studios in Rochester, Kent. Ranscombe is great little analogue studio and we tend to record most of the instrumentation in one go, to give the recording a live, high energy feel. We did the whole album in 3 days leaving a day and a bit for overdubs and mixing. We're really pleased with the outcome".....The Fore
"I started playing the drums when I was 13 some 40- odd years ago. I was given a snare drum and a little splash cymbal on an arm coming from the stand. I can still see it clearly to this day….. I played along to the radio and then graduated to 45’s and LP’s as I got older. I still play along to the odd Stax song or James Brown….. anything with a good rhythm...." Simon Kirke
